The rooms here are a good size and come with central heating, a work desk, and cable TV 📺. The breakfast is decent, and the staff know what they're doing.

In my stay, breakfast was not included. Excellent location.
I am deeply upset that, having left my car at night,. in the reserved area of the hotel for clients (street area with space. for approximately three or four vehicles). Although it is true that I had exceeded the parking time limit. hotel itself calls in the early morning (at 4 or 5 am) to the Municipal Police, so that my car and rest that was parked there, were removed by the tow truck. Around 6 a. m., we arrived at the hotel, I found the Municipal Police car in front of the hotel. Asking at Reception, we are told that the Hotel itself had requested the Municipal Police to remove the vehicles by the Municipal Tow Truck. I inform in reception that we are clients and we are lodged in the Hotel. so that from the Hotel itself this circumstance was communicated to the Police (there present), but, there is not any type of communication on the part of the Hotel neither they show any type of interest on the matter, Fortunately. after talking personally with the Municipal Police, after taking a breathalyser test, my wife and I were allowed to move the car to another parking area very close by, other two or three cars that were parked in the same area as me. (and that were almost certainly also clients of the Hotel) were finally removed by the Municipal Towing Service, MANY THANKS TO THE MUNICIPAL/LOCAL POLICE OF GIJON. VERY. VERY, BADLY FOR THE BEHAVIOUR, LACK OF APTITUDE AND THE NULL CAPACITY OF REACTION OF THE HOTEL,

location is spectacular, room I had, 401, is very big and bed comfortable and huge. view from the breakfast room is very nice from the 9th floor. breakfast buffet is not scarce, not abundant at all, little variation, in any case more than enough. cleanliness of the room, at least mine, is excellent.
Several issues surprised me negatively and hence, that I cannot rate it as excellent and only as good. It's Gijon, it's true, a 4 star hotel should have air conditioning and my room didn't have it. If I wanted some fresh air I had to open the windows so that the soundproofing would be over and noise from the street and even from the sea nearby, waves broke was quite high. In the room, I couldn't find a single free socket for chargers or other computer equipment, so I had to unplug others like lights or the minibar. There were only two in the bathroom.

admission of pets, location by the sea and treatment of the staff was excellent. They did not have a restaurant open but they offer a service of an external Pizzeria that brings you to the hotel. I price very well, although we dine in the pizzeria next to the hotel that is exquisite and magnificent treatment is old but it is worth having dinner there pizza and lasagna, Recommendation: walks along the promenade to disconnect.
hotel is old-fashioned and has four stars, only because of its old-fashionedness and accesses it would be lowered by one star. To enter the elevator with the children's cart you have to make maneuvers and it almost does not fit, access to the hotel is bad there is no ramp for the disabled or a chair to access the hotel as there are 8 steps to enter the reception. Excess heat in the room, there is central heating and we had to close two of the 3 radiators and ventilate the room a little to lower the temperature. shower handle is at least 15 years old or older, when you take a shower the water comes out into the corridor soaking the floor of the corridor. "2" chairs in the room are sunken and upholstery is very succulent. They are making reforms but at this moment I can't evaluate the installations better.

location is excellent, right in front of San Lorenzo beach. room was wide and bed was also wide. It is to be appreciated that there were two pillows per person. Good size TV and not those ridiculous ones they put in some hotels. only thing that, from the bed, you had to raise your arm to change the channels because the receiver did not take for granted if it was done from the same height as the bed. complete bathroom with window. right staff.
The heating is central and they put it at certain hours (some hours in the morning and others in the afternoon/night). I think that connecting it from 8 am is too late when today it gets up quite a bit earlier and at shower time the bath was cold. Another thing, which I have already seen in more hotels, is that there are no electrical outlets on the bedside tables, so to charge the phone you had to look in areas not very accessible.

Nice beachfront location
Staff gave impression of not being interested in their guests; beachview completely ruined by very dirty windows; installations otherwise clean, but overall in need of an update

Super comfortable beds. Wonderful sea views - perfect location. Very tidy and clean. Good, powerful shower. Friendly and attentive service. Great value for money in a wonderful city. Super comfortable beds. Beautiful views of the sea. Very clean and tidy. Powerful shower. Very friendly and attentive service. Good value for money in a wonderful city.
Parking (next to the hotel) was in a very dark, dodgy and hazardous underground car park which had an EXTREMELY steep ramp access that our car skidded on and nearly damaged the front against the floor. Do not park there! / The underground car park was a disaster with many obstacles and an extremely steep ramp which our car did not get good traction on, and nearly damaged by contacting the ground at the end of the ramp. We did not try the breakfast.

I was amazed by the breathtaking view from my room, overlooking the beautiful sea. The recently-renovated room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, with cafes and a lovely beach walk just minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Nice location and view
Windows were quite dirty due to the sea, but they were in the course of cleaning them, which was of no help to us
